Pontardawe Arts Centre is a multi-purpose Arts Centre situated in the heart of Pontardawe, 10 minutes away from junction 45 of the M4.

Pontardawe Arts Centre has available for hire a range of flexible spaces which are suitable for everything from conferences, meetings, lectures, workshops and classes to video shoots and private parties. All spaces can be adapted to suit your personal requirements.

Theatre Auditorium

For large scale meetings or conferences our auditorium is an excellent venue for up to 325 delegates with superb acoustics and full sound system.

The fully seated theatre can accommodate 280 (with an additional 170 restricted view seats). With removable seating downstairs the theatre retains its flexibility, quickly transforming into an informal cabaret setting catering for 120

Studio Theatre

Ideal for conferences, workshops and smaller performances our spacious, multi-purpose studio can accommodate up to 80 delegates in a seminar setting.  Large screen available

Studio

Light and airy the studio is excellent venue for smaller meetings accommodating up to 20 delegates.  With sprung floor, bars and full length mirrors an ideal space for dance, theatre rehearsals, gym and martial arts.

An attic space this room is ideally suited for small scale static activities such as dressmaking and craft.

Theatre / Studio Theatre hire for productions

Both of our theatre spaces are used primarily for venue productions, rehearsals and R&D but can also occasionally be hired by external companies or individuals, subject to suitability and availability. 

Please note that unlike the theatre the studio is not a black box.  Windows into the bar area will enable light into the space.
