Come and enjoy a night of movie themed entertainment with Cwmtawe Brass!

Cwmtawe Brass are a young and modern local brass band based in Pontardawe. Members are between 15 and 32 years of age and are all from the Neath Port Talbot and Swansea area.

They play a mix of concerts and competitions throughout the year and certainly don’t fit the profile of the traditional blazered brass band!

Cwmtawe Brass started as Cwmtawe Youth Band in 1998 and it was adapted into a community band at the beginning of 2019 after it was realised there was no real opportunity for musicians in the Neath Port Talbot and Swansea Valley area to continue after school. In recent years it has been one of the most successful local brass bands by securing consecutive promotions from the 4th division to their current high of the 2nd division of the brass banding competitive pyramid.
