Blending multi-instrumentalism with pin-point harmonies, Pontypridd’sClimbing Trees bring their distinctive Cymrucana sound to Pontardawe Arts Centre amongst a run of stripped-back shows throughout Wales this Autumn.
Featuring Matthew Frederick, Colenso Jones and Martin Webb, the BBC Introducing favourites have made numerous television, radio and festival appearances across the UK, Europe and US, recorded at London's iconicMaida Vale Studios and performed with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, gaining airplay from the likes of Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson along the way.
Marking a decade since the release of their debut album Hebron, the band’s first tour in six years will also feature songs from the Welsh Music Prize-shortlisted follow-up Borders alongside brand new material, with rumours of a long-awaited and much-anticipated third album on the horizon.Returning from hibernation with a first ever appearance in Pontardawe, this is an evening not to be missed with one of Wales’ most endearing live acts.
