Join us for this superb afternoon of film, watching Jean-Luc Godard’s legendary sixties debut, A Bout De Souffle, and Richard Linklater’s modern day love letter to it, Nouvelle Vague.

See one or both and enjoy a French buffet lunch in the Arts Centre between films to share thoughts and conversation.

Bar open.

Original Title: À Bout de Souffle Jean-Luc Godard’s iconic example of French New Wave filmmaking starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Seberg.

Widely considered one of the best films ever made. A small-time crook, hunted by the authorities for a car theft and the murder of a police officer, attempts to persuade a hip American journalism student to run away with him to Italy.
